Do you love the story of how your parents met? Or know someone who overcame incredible odds? Or do you have stories of your own that need telling? If you’ve ever listened to This American Life and itched to write your episode or just wanted to capture memories on paper for friends and family, this class is for you. Writing exercises, readings, and discussion of interview techniques will guide you as you produce a short piece that illustrates a life. Note, this class is useful for those writing fiction or poetry as well.
